That Puok is located on the middle of Ban Don Moun and Ban Khem, which according to legend was built in 1538 AD. At that time, it was called: Mueang Khon Khai. There was a king of the Chomsak family as the ruler of the city (the current Mueang Khop). - The origin of Mr. Puok, according to the story continues: A pair of eagles, carrying the bones of a god from Nalantha, India, flew to catch them on a bao tree (sali tree) where That Puok is now located. When they arrived, they hung the bones on the bao tree and then flew down to drink water at Nong Tao (a large forest in Ban Don Mun). When they were full, the two birds returned to the bao tree and searched for the bones hanging on the branches. They could not find them. They looked everywhere and could not find any way. So the two birds invited all the birds in the forest to help them find them. There were tens of thousands of birds, both large and small, flying around in that mountain, but they could not find anything. A hunter named Mang, a resident of Ban Don Mun, had been hunting in that area and noticed that there were many birds. They flew around and around, making loud noises throughout the forest, flying until it was dark. He tried to sneak in to look below. And on top of the tree, what happened? When Mr. Mang reached the hill and saw that all the ants were gathering dirt to make a mound, he slowly dug out the dirt and looked inside and saw a bone. The ants were very stubborn and gathered dirt to fill the mound quickly and quickly, as if they were being led. When he saw such a strange incident, Mr. Mang returned home to report the incident to the King of Khon Khao in Dong Tha Thong Village (now Muang Village). Then the King appointed three officers to go and see. He saw that the ants had gathered dirt to their waists and were continuing to do so. In that area, there were hundreds of thousands of birds, both small and large, flying and singing there.
Then Sena Amat came to report to the mayor: "The king of the city, the king of the city, came to see for himself. When he saw the incident, he was really surprised. He then invited the royal servants of the city of Khon Khai to build the pagoda of the small temple of the king of the city of Khon Khai together and added special glass to it in 1536 AD. It was made of cinnabar and white limestone, 2 meters square, 2.5 meters high, and had 7 pillars.
During the time when Khon Khai was changed to the city of Kop in 1920-1923, the people of Kop restored the pagoda to be more beautiful and larger, led by the king of the city. The pagoda's base is a square, measuring 12 meters on each side, and 14 meters and 90 centimeters high.
它们把骸骨挂在婆罗门树上,然后飞到 Nong Tao(Ban Don Mun 的一片大森林)喝水。
